Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– What is your full name?
– How should I address you?
– Do you work or study?
– What motivates you in your work or studies?
– How do you stay organised in your daily tasks?
– Do you like taking photos? Why or why not?
– Do you own a camera or do you use your phone for taking pictures?
– Have you ever considered becoming a professional photographer?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a famous city you would like to visit. You should say:
– what city it is
– where it is located
– why this city is well known
and explain why you would like to visit this city.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why do people like visiting famous cities?
– What are some advantages and disadvantages of living in a famous city?
– How does tourism impact well-known cities?
– Do you think cities should preserve their historical areas? Why or why not?
– How has modern technology changed the way people explore new cities?
– What can governments do to make cities more tourist-friendly?
